Math Study Groups: Learning in a Collaborative Culture of Inquiry, Study, Action
The Study Group professional learning occurs both during Study Group full day learning sessions and in schools between sessions. Principals work alongside with teachers, university educators and the school superintendent as they examine student learning of mathematics. The content focus of the webcast is on equivalence. The Study Group’s inquiry is about students’ mathematical comprehension, communication and engagement.
In this webcast, viewers will have the opportunity to learn alongside with a Study Group that is grounded in inquiry, study and action. Their work is cyclical, iterative and sustained.
