Recent announcements by the federal government indicate an increase in immigration targets in order to meet Canada’s economic needs. Most newcomers come to Ontario, and more of them are expected to settle in smaller towns and communities across Ontario. It is important for all schools to get ready for linguistic and cultural diversity in the classroom!
